In eastern Ukraine, the Russian war of aggression did not just begin in February 2022; it has been raging here since 2014. “Shots are fired and grenades explode in the streets. In the house, four siblings, their mother, the cats and the turtle are trying to find peace and organize a normal everyday life. He quickly made me irritable and angry, says Nastja. Her sister Myroslava, who wants to study cinematography, says: “War is like a void. To fight the black hole, she is making a movie. A film about her family’s life during the war, about the fears and small joys. Director Iryna Tsilyk observes everyday life during the war and the family’s work on the film.
