Live in Concert: Simonoton

Friday, 17.10., 10:00 pm, Festival Lounge

more details

Is man also a dog’s best friend? Can Nazis be treated? How deep does the relationship with a bot go? Is everything for nothing? Simonoton tackles these and other questions on the piano in a sometimes humorous, sometimes maudlin and sometimes provocative way. He doesn’t want to decide on a genre. For this concert, he is kindly supported by the Bamberger Schimpfonikern.

Live in Concert:

Ehekrach

Sunday, 19.10., 10:00 pm, Festival Lounge

more details

With their minimalist feel-good sound, the indie duo Ehekrach get your feet tapping and deliver easily digestible songs that make you feel and smile.

Finding the right person for a band project is a challenge. Spouses Nicole and Patrick therefore make it easy for themselves and form the band Ehekrach in the fall of 2024, which is dedicated to catchy Indian numbers from the living room production. In addition to guitar and bass, the duo give their songs the necessary drive and use a drum machine to provide the necessary indie slacker beat. Most of the songs are arranged in two voices, often working in dialog. The themes of their songs, which are created at the breakfast table, while shopping or on the sofa, are sometimes a gentle embrace, then again a tongue-in-cheek anecdote from everyday life as millennials.

Live in Concert: Reis

Monday, 20.10., 10:00 pm, Festival Lounge

more details

You can not only cook rice, you can also listen to it!

Since mid-2022, ‘Reis’ has been travelling on stages across Germany, presenting a mix of fusion jazz, funk and light punk elements.

It is unmistakable that the four musicians around Sebastian (saxophone), Christoph (guitar), Marius (bass) and Laurin (drums) partly come from different musical genres, but this gives ‘Reis’ a certain charm. Jazz perhaps, but definitely ‘rice’ music.
