Una Banda de Chicas with DJ set and film talk

A Girl’s Band (Una Banda de Chicas) was screened at NIHRFF in 2019 and was an absolute festival favorite. We are delighted that Casablanca and the Frida Radikalo collective are now showing the film again in Nuremberg. Admission is free!

In September 2020, six refugees are sentenced in a questionable trial for the burning of the Moria camp on the island of Lesbos. The director begins a correspondence with Hassan, one of these refugees, and shows the mechanisms of European compartmentalisation in silent, precisely framed images.
