Please note that the films of the Open Eyes programme are offered specifically for school classes and are not available to the general public.<\/p>\n\n

Registration<\/strong> <\/h4>\n\n

Register by sending an e-mail to filmhaus[at]stadt.nuernberg.de<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

This year, you can attend the Open Eyes school screenings with your class at the cinema only.We kindly ask you to register with a binding number of students and your preferred date. We offer three screening times in the mornings: at 8:30 am., 11 am. and 2 pm. If your preferred date is already booked up, we will find an alternative date for you. <\/p>\n\n

Film Talks<\/h4>\n\n

Crucial for our Open Eyes school screenings are discussions with filmmakers or experts after the screenings. This year, we are offering two screenings per film, followed by a discussion. <\/p>\n\n

Canan Turan<\/a> will moderate the discussion. She is a film scholar, curator, dramaturge and presenter, including for the Berlinale’s Generation <\/em>programme for children and young people. In her podcast film.macht.kritisch.<\/em><\/a>, she explores anti-discriminatory and solidarity-based film culture. <\/p>\n\n
