SYNOPSIS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

PATRIOTIC LESSON tells the story of a Polish primary school singing contest, in which children perform patriotic songs, full of heroism, bravery, blood, sweat and tears. Through a clear presentation of the performers and the audience, and the tension that builds up between parents and teachers and finally during the jury\u2019s deliberations, it opens up questions around the meaning of patriotism and its institutional reaffirmation to the next generation.
PATRIOTIC LESSON won the Golden Dove for Best German Short Documentary at DoK Leipzig 2016.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
