Weltensammler (World Collector) became an internationally acclaimed bestseller, has traveled to Mali many times. His new novel, Macht und Widerstand (Power and Resistance), will be published in September.

During the festival, Radio Z will broadcast live interviews and discussions with directors, participants, and organizers from the festival lounge between 9 and 10 pm. The focus will be on the evening film program.

Every evening from 10 pm, seven fantastic local live acts supporting the festival with an unplugged performance will bring the festival evening to a close.
